La Vie En Rose: Pink Instagrammable Spots in Houston

Hello friends!

I’d just like to start off by saying that this spring break was much needed, especially after feeling so drained from this semester. On top of that, I really missed my family and needed a breather back home in H-town.

While there, I wanted to visit places I’d never been to before, and somehow, I landed myself in some kind of pink craze. So, here are some spots to satisfy anyone looking for that pop of pink on his or her feed.

1. Sprinkles Cupcakes

On the Saturday that I got back, I stopped by Sprinkles while walking around in Highland Village with my sister and a few of her friends from uni. Sprinkles is a California-based cupcake bakery and one of my personal favorites. Aside from how good the actual cupcakes are, the coolest part of Sprinkles is definitely the pink cupcake ATM machine.

All you have to do is select the cupcake you want, pay, and voila – you get yourself a sweet order and a sweet photo opportunity!

2. Bebidas

On Wednesday, one of my roommates/best friends and I grabbed a bite at this little juice and gourmet coffee bar called Bebidas. The entire place was Instagram-worthy with its salmon pink walls, marble-patterned table tops, neon sign, succulents, and outdoor patio.

Matcha Latte

There, I ate a very tasty chicken salad sandwich made with a pretzel bun. I also tried a matcha latte for the first time but realized right away that I didn’t like it very “matcha.”

3. Emerson Rose

Friday was a family day out, so we visited a lot of The Heights and Montrose areas. In Montrose, we stumbled across this small boutique called Emerson Rose. The store had a lot of trendy pieces and offered brands such as Free People, J.O.A., etc. What really caught my eye, however, was the wall on the outside of the store, which transitioned from a darker shade of pink to a softer shade.

Turns out that I wasn’t the only excited one since others turned up at the wall too. Also, huge props to my sister’s guy friend for taking the shot above (he literally tagged along with us all break since he was staying over for the week).

So there you have it…a short compilation for Houston’s pink enthusiasts!

Let me know if you plan to visit any of these spots and/or if you have other places you’d like to share!

Bisous à tous! ♡
